Careerflow is the broadest product in this comparison, and breadth is the whole pitch: resume building, LinkedIn optimisation, application tracking, autofill, elevator pitches, LinkedIn posts and mock interviews, under one subscription with a free Basic tier.

That is a real answer to a real complaint. Running a job search across four tools means four subscriptions, four logins and your material in four places that disagree with each other.

The trade breadth makes

A suite is a set of features that each compete for attention with a specialist. Some hold up well — tracking and autofill are largely solved problems, and doing them adequately inside one product beats doing them excellently across two.

The generative half is where breadth costs you something, and not for the reason people usually assume. It is not that a suite’s writing model is worse. It is that each additional surface that writes on your behalf is another place an unsupported claim can enter your job search, and they do not check each other.

A resume, a cover letter, an elevator pitch and a LinkedIn post generated separately from the same prompt will each round your experience upward slightly, in different directions. Individually every one reads fine. Collectively they describe four subtly different candidates — and a recruiter reading your LinkedIn next to your resume is doing precisely that comparison. The place this surfaces is the interview, when someone asks about the scope your LinkedIn post claimed and your resume did not.

The weekly option is worth a moment’s thought. Weekly pricing suits a job search honestly — searches are bursty, and paying for four weeks beats paying for a year you stop using in March. It also compounds quietly if the search runs longer than you expect. Check the annual equivalent of whatever cadence you pick before you commit to it.

If you are replacing part of it

Work out which two or three features you actually use. Almost nobody uses a suite end to end, and the replacement problem gets much easier once it is “a tracker and a tailoring tool” rather than “everything Careerflow does”.

Then apply one rule to whatever writes for you: every claim that reaches a recruiter — resume, letter, LinkedIn, pitch — should trace back to something you actually did, and you should be able to say which thing. That is a low bar. Generative breadth makes it surprisingly easy to clear on any single document and surprisingly hard to clear across all of them at once.
