These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SiviGen (the "Service"), operated by the SiviGen team ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SiviGen helps you tailor your curriculum vitae ("CV") to a specific job description. You upload a CV and paste a job description; the Service produces a job-tailored CV using only facts your uploaded CV supports, together with a truthfulness audit and relevance scoring. The Service is provided as a tool to assist you — you remain responsible for the content of any CV you submit to employers.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Your content

"Your Content" means the CV text, job descriptions, and other information you submit. You retain all ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and transform Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — including transmitting relevant portions to third-party AI providers as described in ourPrivacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it is accurate. You are solely responsible for the truthfulness of the underlying facts in your CV; the Service is designed to avoid inventing facts, but it cannot verify claims you yourself have entered incorrectly.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create or submit fraudulent or misleading credentials.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes others' rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond documented, permitted rates.
• Use the Service to process other people's personal data without a lawful basis.

5. AI processing & accuracy

The Service uses large language models, including third-party providers, to analyse and rewrite text. While SiviGen is built to maximise relevance without inventing facts and to audit claims for truthfulness, AI systems can still make mistakes. You must review every tailored CV before relying on or submitting it. We do not warrant that output is error-free or suitable for any particular application.

6. Plans, fees & changes

Some features are offered free of charge; others may require a paid plan. Pricing and plan details are presented in the app. We may change features or pricing prospectively, and will give reasonable notice of material changes.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property other than the right to use the Service as permitted.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in any interview, offer, or employment outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. On termination, the licence you granted us ends, subject to any retention described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
